We are visa89 — an online entertainment and betting platform built specifically for Malaysian players. From EPL football and the Malaysia Super League, to live dealer Blackjack and virtual sports — we're here with one goal: to deliver a safe, fair, and enjoyable gaming experience for every local player.
The core principles that guide every decision we make for the Malaysian player community.
Visa89's mission is to be the most trusted, most accessible, and most responsible online betting platform for Malaysian players. We believe online entertainment can be done transparently, fairly, and safely — without compromise. Every feature we build, every rule we set, and every operational decision we make is grounded in our commitment to delivering the best possible experience for our community.
Visa89's long-term vision is to grow into the most innovative and most respected online betting platform in Southeast Asia, with Malaysia as our core and the foundation of our growth. We want every Malaysian player — from Perlis to Sabah and Sarawak — to feel that visa89 is the platform closest to their heart, because we truly understand the needs, preferences, and entertainment culture of local players.
Six key advantages that set visa89 apart from other platforms in the market.
Player safety is the top priority at visa89. All your personal data and financial transactions are protected with 256-bit SSL encryption – the same security standard used by the world's leading banks. Your account is secured with two-factor authentication (2FA), and our systems monitor for suspicious activity in real time to keep your balance protected.
Visa89 is designed with Malaysian players in mind — and nowhere is this more evident than in our payment system. All transactions are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) with no currency conversion or hidden fees. Deposits can be made via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, or FPX, which connects directly to Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, and all major Malaysian banks. The minimum deposit is just RM10, processed in under 30 seconds.
From EPL and Malaysia Super League football betting, BWF badminton, MLBB and Valorant esports — to live dealer Blackjack, Roulette, jackpot slots, and 24-hour virtual sports, visa89 offers the most complete entertainment ecosystem for Malaysian players, all in one platform. No more jumping between multiple sites.
The visa89 customer support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – including Malaysian public holidays such as Hari Raya Aidilfitri, National Day, and Malaysia Day. We provide support in both Bahasa Malaysia and English via live chat, email, and WhatsApp. Our average live chat response time is under two minutes.
Over 78% of visa89 players access the platform on mobile – and we've built a mobile experience that's truly optimised for smaller screens. No extra app downloads needed. Our web platform loads directly in your browser, with a responsive interface that runs smoothly on any screen size – from older Android phones to the latest iPhone.
Visa89 believes that responsible entertainment is the foundation of a sustainable business and a healthy community. We provide a comprehensive suite of self-management tools — daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits, temporary or permanent self-exclusion, and links to professional support resources for players who need help. Our responsible gaming policy is among the most thorough in the industry.
Visa89 didn't start out as a billion-dollar corporation. It grew from a small group of people who genuinely loved sports and online entertainment — but more importantly, who were genuinely frustrated with what foreign platforms were offering Malaysian players. They felt that overseas platforms simply didn't understand the local context: payment methods that didn't fit, interfaces that weren't in the local language, customer support that was hard to reach, and no real focus on the sports Malaysians actually care about, like badminton, Liga Super, and now esports.
Out of that frustration, visa89 was born — with one core commitment: build a platform truly made for Malaysia. Not just a foreign website translated into Bahasa Melayu, but a platform built from the ground up with local players in mind, from the payment system to the sports markets on offer. The name visa89 was chosen to reflect accessibility — just as a visa opens doors, we want to be the gateway to the best online entertainment experience for every Malaysian player.
Since our very first day of operations, visa89 has grown steadily on the strength of trust from our player community. Our growth isn't driven by heavy advertising alone – it comes from satisfied players recommending us to their friends and family. That reputation is our most valued asset, and every operational decision we make – from selecting game providers to setting withdrawal policies – is made with our players' long-term interests in mind.
When you log in to visa89, you'll find that every section has been designed with a genuine understanding of what Malaysian players want. The Sports Betting section is the most complete you'll find — not just EPL and the Champions League, but Liga Super Malaysia gets equal prominence, with deep markets for every JDT, Selangor FC, Kuala Lumpur City FC match, and more. Badminton has its own dedicated section because we know that Lee Zii Jia and Aaron-Wooi Yik aren't just names — they're national heroes followed with real passion by Malaysians everywhere.
E-sports is the fastest-growing category on visa89 over the past few years. MLBB MPL Malaysia, Valorant Champions Tour MY/SG, and DOTA 2 attract wide markets and competitive odds. We understand that the Malaysian e-sports community is highly knowledgeable and discerning – they know the players, they follow the meta, and they deserve fair and in-depth markets. We're committed to meeting the high expectations of this community.
The visa89 casino brings the live dealer experience straight to your phone or computer. Live Blackjack, Live Roulette, and Live Baccarat are streamed from high-definition casino studios with professional dealers. For players who prefer a faster pace, jackpot slots, round-the-clock virtual sports, and a wide range of digital table games are also available. All games use a certified Random Number Generator (RNG), independently verified by internationally recognised testing bodies, ensuring complete fairness.
All transactions on visa89 are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) with no currency conversion. We accept Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and FPX (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks). Minimum deposit is RM10, processed within 30 seconds. Withdrawals are processed within 1–3 working hours via the same method.
At visa89, we don't treat social responsibility as a mere legal obligation – it's a core value that shapes how we operate. We recognise that gambling, while a legitimate and popular form of entertainment, can become a problem for some individuals if not managed carefully. That's why we invest seriously in responsible gambling tools and resources.
Every visa89 player has access to a comprehensive self-management panel within their account settings. You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits that the system enforces automatically — so even on an impulsive night, our system keeps you in check. You can also set loss limits, wagering limits, and session time limits. If you need a longer break, temporary self-exclusion options (from 24 hours up to 6 months) or permanent exclusion are available, no questions asked and no barriers in the way.
We also actively collaborate with local problem gambling support organisations to ensure players who need help can access the right resources. Contact information for these support organisations is clearly available in the Responsible Gaming us. visa89 believes that players who game responsibly are the happiest players, and a healthy community is the foundation of a sustainable business.
Integrity is easy to claim but hard to prove. At visa89, we believe integrity is demonstrated through actions and systems, not words alone. Our digital casino games use RNG certified by eCOGRA or an equivalent independent testing body — these organisations audit us regularly to verify that return-to-player (RTP) percentages are as published and that no manipulation takes place.
For Sports Betting, our odds are calculated using a transparent mathematical model and updated in real time based on current market movements. We do not manipulate odds behind the scenes or change game rules after a bet has been placed. What you see when placing your bet is exactly what you get – no hidden surprises.
All winnings on visa89 are paid in full, with no undisclosed conditions or deductions. Our winnings verification process is automated in the vast majority of cases, with manual review required only for exceptionally large wins or in highly unusual circumstances. We take pride in visa89's consistent and timely payout record throughout our operations.
Your personal information is never sold or shared with third parties without your consent. We comply with strict data protection standards. For full details on how we use your data, please read our Privacy Policy us.
From humble beginnings to becoming the platform of choice for hundreds of thousands of Malaysian players.
Player satisfaction based on our latest internal survey.
Visa89 was founded with a core focus on Sports Betting, particularly EPL football and the Malaysia Super League. The platform launched with a fully Bahasa Malaysia interface – the first of its kind in the local market at the time.
Visa89 was among the first platforms to support Touch 'n Go eWallet and GrabPay as deposit methods. This move dramatically improved access for Malaysian players who prefer eWallets over traditional bank transfers.
Launch of the Live Casino section featuring live dealer Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat. High-quality studios with Bahasa Melayu-speaking dealers were introduced specifically for the local market, bringing the real casino experience to Malaysian players' screens.
Riding the surge in MLBB and esports popularity across Malaysia, visa89 expanded its esports coverage to include a comprehensive MPL Malaysia offering. A 24-hour Virtual Sports category was also introduced to serve players who want to bet outside of live sporting schedules.
A major milestone as visa89 reached 200,000 active registered members — the vast majority from Malaysia. This community trust drove greater investment in security infrastructure, platform speed, and more rewarding bonus programmes.
Visa89 has earned industry recognition as Malaysia's leading online betting platform. With over 500,000 active members and hundreds of matches every week, visa89 continues to grow with the same commitment it had from day one.
Four values that guide every action and decision we make, every day.
We deliver on our promises. Odds are accurate, winnings are paid in full, and the rules don't change mid-game. The trust of our players is non-negotiable.
Our players are more than just users – they are the community that shapes visa89. Their feedback drives our product roadmap. We listen, and we act.
The online entertainment industry moves fast. We're constantly exploring new technologies and features — from real-time in-play betting to an optimised mobile experience — to stay ahead of the curve.

"I've been using visa89 for over two years now. What I appreciate most is the transparency — odds don't shift without reason, winnings come in on time, and if there's an issue, live chat responds within minutes. No other platform I've tried comes close to that standard."
"As a badminton betting fan, I'm really glad visa89 offers deep markets for the BWF World Tour. Not every platform covers Malaysian sports in this much detail. Depositing via TnG is super easy too — just tap in the app and within 30 seconds you're ready to bet. Withdrawals have never been an issue either."
"This is a platform that truly gets local players. There's Liga Super Malaysia with full markets, MLBB esports, and live blackjack with dealers who speak Malay. Most importantly — when I set a deposit limit for myself, the system actually sticks to it. That's what a responsible platform looks like."
